Iva Bell Branstetter - Mutchler, 97, of South Bend passed away on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 with her family by her side in South Bend, Indiana. Iva was born on September 7, 1912 in Moscow, Michigan to her late parents. She married Willis Branstetter at age 16 and he passed away in 1962. Years later she married Harold Mutchler which also preceded her in death. Iva was a lifetime member of the Clay Democratic Club and VFW post 1167. She enjoyed watching wrestling and kickboxing and loved to play bingo at the FOP in Mishawaka as well as various other places. Iva is preceded in death by her two husbands, parents, a son, Dennis E. Branstetter, two daughters Betty Jean Branstetter and Terry Sapalton, two grandchildren Willis Ebersole and Todd Branstetter, two sister Georgia Smit and Gladys McMullin and two brothers Fred Cain and Vern Cain. She is survived by three daughters; Claudice (Robert) Ebersole of Plymouth, Indiana Edna Hill of South Bend and Wilma (Floyd) Ebersole of South Bend, a son Willis Wesley Branstetter II of South Bend, 12 grandchildren, a host of great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren, and great-great-great-grandchildren, and a sister Aretta Fowler of Homer, Michigan. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 22, at 1:00p.m.at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens, 61453 M-51 in Niles. Memorial contributions may be made in Iva's memory to Center of Hospice Care 111 Sunnybrook Court, South Bend, Indiana 46637.
