Obituary of Beverly R. Collins

Beverly R. (Oler) Collins, 75, of Niles, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 23, 2010 at her residence. She was born to the late Lewis E. Oler and Rose M. (Keller) Oler-Shippy in South Bend, Indiana. Beverly graduated from Riley High School in South Bend, Class of 1954. On November 27, 1953 she married Carl R. Collins. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother Larry Oler. She is survived by her husband Carl R. Collins of Niles, a daughter Donna Collins of South Bend, Indiana, three sons; Gary (Paula) Collins, Kenneth Collins and Larry Collins all of Niles, a granddaughter Julie Collins of Niles, two step-grandchildren Lisa Moore of Niles and Michael (Jacqueline) Moore of South Bend, a brother Robert "Bob" Oler of Reseda, California, two sisters Jackie Oler-Morningstar of Manchester Center, Vermont, and Marti Jensen of Sawyer, Michigan, a step-sister Shirley Beasley of Soddy Daisy, Tennessee, and three great-granddaughters Madelynn, Alyssa and Olivia. In keeping with Beverly's wishes a private family interment was held Wednesday morning at St. Joe Valley Memorial Park in Granger, Indiana. The family has requested no flowers be sent and all memorial contributions may be made in Beverly's memory to Hospice at Home, Inc. 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, Michigan 49085.
