Evelyn Joyce LaVanway, 77, of John Beers Road in Stevensville, Michigan, passed away at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph, Michigan on Monday, August 30, 2010.
Evelyn was born on November 21, 1932 to the late Gustav and Rose (Rock) Polfus.
She is preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and one sister.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter Lori (Ed) Caldeira of Seattle, Washington, two grandsons and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made in Evelyn's memory to Grace Lutheran Church located at 404 East Glenlord Road in St. Joseph, Michigan.
