Leonas Macevicius, 72, of Niles, passed away on Friday, September 10, 2010 at Lakeland Specialty Hospital in Berrien Center, Michigan
He was born on April 30, 1938 in Taurogen, Lithuania to the late Antanas and Augustina (Hausman) Macevicius.
Leonas served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force. He was a talented artist and wood craftsman. Leonas was a kind and gentle man who cared for others and was loved dearly by his friends and family.
He is survived by a brother Emil Macevicius of DePauw, Indiana, step-daughters; Tina (Raymond) Poore of Cassopolis, Michigan, Bonnie (Phillip) Focht of South Bend, Indiana and Stella Hall of Jonesville, Virginia, a stepson William Moss of Allegan, Michigan and four sons from Texas. He was also a wonderful grandfather.
