Obituary of Nora Lee Ross

Nora L. (Brown) Ross, 78, of Kalamazoo, went home to be with her Savior on Wednesday morning November 3, 2010 at The Laurels of Galesburg. She was born on July 7, 1932 in Arnett, West Virginia to the late Daniel M. and Elsie M. (Woods) Brown. A homemaker most of her life, Nora enjoyed spending time with her family, fishing and spending time up north. She was a member of Cornerstone Church in Kalamazoo. Nora loved the Lord and was faithful in attendance to church and was a devoted woman of prayer. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arthur J. (Tiny) Ross, two sons Stanley Kilbourn and Zeno Ross, two brothers Ambros and Dave Brown and two sisters Evelyn Combs and Flora DuCharme. Nora is survived by three sons; Richard Kilbourn of Portage, Daniel (Debbie) Kilbourn of Kalamazoo and Arthur Ross of Portage, three grandchildren; Danny Kilbourn, Amanda Whittaker and Lisa Meyer, three great-grandchildren, five brothers; Shelby Brown, Glenn (Alma) Brown, Willis (Judy) Brown, Charlie Brown and James Brown and a very special sister Ethel Olsen. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 8, 2010 at 6:00 p.m. at Cornerstone Church, 1809 Romence Road, Portage, Michigan 49024. A time of visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. An interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery in Kalamazoo. Memorial contributions may be made in Nora's memory to her family.
