Luci,
Know that I am with you in heart, I so wish I could be there for you right now. Don was a tremendous man with a huge heart and warm genuine spirit. He lived his life like it mattered because it did. What matters is the impact he left on all of us in the dash of his years. He will be dearly missed.

Dear Lucy & Family, Please know how sorry we are for your loss in such a wonderful and fun-loving husband, father and grandfather. My children will always remember him for being "the candy store man" from you Barron Lake Store days. They loved taking their pennies to the store and shopping from him because he was always "nice" to them. He hadn't changed from those years long ago. May God comfort you in your loss.

Lucy and family,
It's been more than a few years since I've seen you. I heard of Don's passing and couldn't help but let you know that Don was always a dear friend. We go way back to the days of Transworld Volkswagen (the sixties) as "brother" mechanics. Don was always a mentor to me with his mechanical ability, but more than that he was a good friend and a solid person you could rely on. When I needed help on a repair, Don was always there to get me through. We had more than a few laughs and good times together. I always looked at him as a big brother at work. I always admired him.
Lucy, I will always remember our younger days at Transworld VW...those were good times. You and Don will always be in my memory of great friends, never to be forgot!
May God be with you and your family at this time of sadness. Let's all look forward to a great reunion in Heaven some day!
One thing about memories- no one can take them from you. As I looked at all the pictures of your and Don's family it is very evident that God has blessed you and Don richly throughout the years... a beautiful family and wonderful memories!
warm regards,
Ray Damaske

Lucille (McGillicutty) and kids:
Donald was a man among men and was a pleasure to know. He was a great role model and gave me my first taste of what work was all about. His smile and his laughter will always be with me as well as with you. It seems only fitting he left us on a day many other "trophies" do. For he was truly a trophy man in every sense of the word. Peace be with you.

We were so sad to hear about Donnie. He was a wonderful person, who brought joy and laughter wherever he was. He always had a smile on his face and lots of hugs whenever we saw him. Donnie was so proud of his children and grandchildren. He will be truly missed by all who knew him. Lucille, we will always cherish the times we spent with you, Donnie and the entire Wallace Family. We can still see you and Donnie dancing at the Legion parties. You danced as though God created you for each other. Our hearts go out to you, Jennifer, Tony and your grandchildren. Keep his memories alive forever in your hearts and he will always be with you. We wish we could be there to help celebrate Donnie's life with you and your family. Our prayers are with you all.
