Obituary of John Benhardt Hesser

John Hesser, 82, of Edwardsburg, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2010 at his residence with his family by his side. John was born on January 22, 1928 in Niles, Michigan to the late John and Isabel (Stratton) Hesser. He married Deloris (Medlin) Hesser, the love of his life, on August 23, 1969 at the First United Methodist Church in Buchanan, Michigan. John is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Harry E. Hesser. He is survived by his wife, 4 daughters, Sandra (Bill) Daam of Mattawan, Myritta Paul of Lucas, Ohio, Joyce Lotsbaich of Edwardsburg, Deborah Hesser of Buchanan, 3 sons, Eugene (Susan) Onken of Niles, Donald (Valorie) Hesser of Decatur, Scott Hesser of South Bend, 16 Grandchildren, 14 Great-Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great-Grandchildren. John worked at Simplicity Pattern where he retired after more than 40 years with the company.
