Obituary of Dessie Lee Cobb

Dessie Lee Cobb, 82, of Niles, Michigan, born in Tyronza, Arkansas, May 17, 1928, passed on December 22, 2010.
Dessie was preceded in death by her mother Lena Briggs; stepfather Erby Briggs; a sister Ruth; brothers Osie, Eddie and Carl. A daughter Monie Kay Murphy; four sons Larry Fox, Sr., Dwight Moss, Leroy Cobb, Jr., and kenny Cobb.
She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters; Ann Fox-Danquah of East Saint Louis, Illinois, Jean (Jimmy) Bradley, Augustine (Clayton) Kyles, and Darlene Macon of South Bend, Indiana. Nineteen grandchildren, thirty great-grandchildren and ten great-great grandchildren. One brother Arton Briggs of South Bend, Indiana. One god-daughter Kristie Lane of Niles, Michigan and one god-son Corky Berry of Indianapolis, Indiana. And a host of family and friends.
Before Dessie became ill she was a faithful member of Mt. Calvary Missionary Baptist Church in Niles, Michigan where she served as a missionary, choir member, deaconess, pastor's aide, vocational bible school teacher and on the mother's board.
Dessie will be greatly missed.
