Obituary of Isabel H Jullian

Isabel H. (Zerbe) Julian, 87, of Ferry Street, Niles, passed away on Friday, December 24, 2010 at Lakeland Community Hospital in Niles, following a brief illness. She was born on May 29, 1923 in Decatur, Michigan to the late Dewey H. and Jessie (Osborne) Zerbe. On December 5, 1941 Isabel married the late Dean F. Julian at a ceremony in Dowagiac, Michigan. He preceded her in death in 1988. A homemaker most of her life, Isabel was a Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed baking at Christmastime and spending time with her family. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers; Dewey, Clarence, and Tom Zerbe. She is survived by a son Douglas (Diana) Julian of Peru, Illinois, three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and two sisters Alice De Palmea and Ruth Baron. Funeral services will be held at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel, 61453 M-51 in Niles, on Monday, December 27, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. An interment will follow at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made in Isabel's memory to the American Heart Association. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home, Niles and Mission Hills Memorial Chapel.
