Matt Lowe Covington, 68, of Bridgman, Michigan, passed away at his home on Sunday, December 26, 2010.
Matt was born on June 21, 1942 to the late Sam and Mary (Harding) Covington in Arkansas. He was one of five children growing up in the Covington household.
After high school Matt wed the love of his life, Patricia Forrester, on March 20, 1972 in Bridgman. Together they raised 3 wonderful children.
Matt is preceded in death by his parents Sam and Mary, brother Jerry and his brother-in-law Bob Horton.
He is survived by his wife Pat, children Steve Watkins of Baroda, Michigan, Carla (Scott) Sanford of St. Joseph, Michigan, Chris Covington of St. Joseph and Beverly Emery of St. Joseph, 5 grandchildren and siblings Sam (June) Covington of Baroda, Larry Covington of Galien, Michigan, (Scott) Evelyn Vines of New Troy, Michigan, Dean (Janette) Forrester of Alabama, Randy (Dottie) Forrester of St. Joseph, Donnie (Debra) Horton of North Carolina, Shirley Horton of Baroda and David (Sylvia) Boyer of Indiana.
