Obituary of Ruth Catherine Holtz

Ruth Holtz, 93, of Niles, passed away on Wednesday, March 23, 2011 at Oak Crest Assisted Living Home.
Ruth was born on July 23, 1917 in South Bend to the late John and Grace (Medaris) Parker.
In 1943 Ruth married her late husband Leroy Holtz at a ceremony in South Bend, Indiana.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, three brothers, Donald Parker, Robin Parker, Walter Parker, and two sisters, Gladys Six and Mildred Larsen.
Ruth is survived by two daughters, Marlene (Denton) Kime of Niles, Carol (William) Needham of Niles, three grandchildren; Lisa Donaghe of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Christine Johnson of Niles, Michael Needham of Niles, five great-grandchildren; Nichols Needham, Alaina Needham, Evan James Johnson, Katy Brady and Samantha Checkly.
Memorial donations may be made in Ruth's memory to the Humane Society of Southwestern Michigan, 641 S. Crystal Ave. Benton Harbor, Michigan 49022.
