Obituary of Anna Antus

Anna Maxine Antus, 90, of Niles passed away on Friday, June 24, 2011 with her family by her side. Known by Maxine all of her life she was born to the late William Tee and Vera (Brewer) Gillentine in McMinnville, Tennessee. On December 11, 1948 Maxine married Andrew A. Antus at a ceremony in Niles, Michigan. Maxine was a homemaker all of her life. When she wasn't tending to the needs inside of her home she enjoyed spending time gardening. Preceding Maxine are her parents, and three of her brothers; Jack, J.B. and Ray Gillentine, William Tee Gillentine Jr. Maxine is survived by her daughter, Sally (Tom) Overmyer of Niles, brother Leon Gillentine of Niles. In accordance with Maxine's request there will be no public services and those wishing to make a memorial donation may do so to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.
