Obituary of Virgil Dean Archer

Virgil Dean Archer, 83, of Dowagiac, passed away at home on Saturday, July 9, 2011 with his family by his side.
Virgil was born on November 4, 1927 to the late Albert and Nellie (Taylor) Archer.
In 1946 Virgil enlisted in the United States Army where he proudly served our country.
On My 9, 1952 Virgil wed Adele Kaiser at a ceremony in Eau Clair, Michigan.
Virgil is preceded in death by his parents, brothers Leslie, Orville, Stanley and Leonard Archer, and sisters Martha Kent, Sarah Moshier, Bernice Gilbertson, Annabelle Booth and Emma Lockwitz.
He is survived by his wife Adele Archer and a large extended family.
A memorial luncheon will be held on Saturday, July 30, 2011 at the Eagles in Dowagiac, Michigan at Noon.
Those wishing to make a memorial donation may do so to Hospice at Home located at 4017 Chamberlain Road in Buchanan.
