Obituary of Calvin Clayton Carpenter

Calvin Carpenter, 46, of Buchanan, Michigan passed away at Lakeland Hospital in Niles on Saturday, July 23, 2011. Calvin was born on April 12, 1965 to the late Orvin and Stella (Morgan) Carpenter. His greatest loves were family and fishing. He will always be remembered for having a loving heart. The family will be hosting a memorial service at the Full Gospel Church at the corner of 13th and Cass in Niles on Friday, July 29, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to the family, in care of Brown Funeral Home at 521 East Main Street; Niles, Michigan 49120 He is preceded in death by his parents and two sisters Joy Pfeil and Linda Reed-Carpenter. Calvin is survived by his son Robert Carpenter of Sturgis, Michigan and siblings Judy (La-Von) Zelmer of Buchanan, Michigan, Orvin "Jay" Carpenter of Niles, Mary (Grant) Johnson of Allegan, Michigan, Steve Carpenter of Niles, Michigan, Karen (Jerry Tibone) of Niles, Sharon Carpenter of Avon Park, Florida, Annette Malette of Galien, Michigan and Mark (Josie) Carpenter of Niles.
