Obituary of Jessie Lee Austin

Jessie Lee (Gill) Austin, age 39, a lifelong resident of Sturgis, Michigan passed away peacefully on August 2, 2011 at 12:25 in the afternoon, after a courageous battle against breast cancer. She was surrounded by her loving husband (Robert Austin), her brother-in-law (Paul Salisbury) and sister-in-law (Heather Salisbury). She was born on April 13, 1972 to John Samuel and Nancy Ann (Weber) Gill. On July 9, 2001 she gave birth to a healthy baby boy, Robert Gail Austin Jr., who became the center of her world. On August 11, 2001 she married Robert Gail Austin and enjoyed 10 years of marriage. Throughout their 10 years of marriage, their love for each other continued to grow stronger with each passing day. She was a member of The Potter's House Church of Sturgis, where her love for Jesus was founded and where she continued to learn and grow in God. She enjoyed collecting dolphins and unicorns. She liked doing word searches, playing computer games and games on her phone. But most important she was a loving wife and mother. She is survived by her parents, her loving husband, Robert Austin of White Pigeon, Michigan; one son, Robert Austin Jr. of White Pigeon; one sister, Debbie Kauffman of Mendon, Michigan; one brother, Kirk Gill of Sturgis. She is also survived by her brother-in-laws Paul (Heather) Salisbury of Sturgis and Keith (Krissi) Salisbury of White Pigeon. She was preceded in death by a baby girl, (Katie) and a baby boy, (Michael). As per her wishes, cremation has taken place and a memorial service celebrating her life will be held at The Potter's House Church of Sturgis, located at 210 East Congress, Sturgis, Michigan 49091 on Tuesday, August 9th, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. There will be a luncheon served afterwards.
