Obituary of Larry A LaGrow

Larry A. LaGrow, 59, of Sodus, Michigan, passed away at Lakeland Hospital in St. Joseph on Wednesday, August 31, 2011, surrounded by his family. He was born on November 14, 1951 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to the late Ervin and Jean LaGrow. On May 7, 1977 Larry married Linda Barker at a ceremony in Coloma, Michigan. After college, Larry worked for many years as a machinist. In his spare time Larry could be found woodworking, golfing, fishing and mostly spending time with his grandkids. He was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stevensville. He was preceded in death by his parents Ervin LaGrow and Jean LaGrow-Davy, two brothers George and Ted LaGrow and two sisters Pat LaGrow and Kathy Buchan. Larry is survived by his wife Linda LaGrow of Sodus, a son Joseph (Amy) LaGrow of Lawrence, Michigan, a daughter Mindy (Jimmy) Clark of Sodus, five grandchildren; Brant, Amberr, Casey, Tyler and Logan, six brothers; Ervin (Bonnie) LaGrow of Coloma, Dick (Jane) LaGrow Lake Orion, Michigan, Robert (Debbie) LaGrow of Kalamazoo, David (Linda) LaGrow of Coloma, Mike (Sally) LaGrow of Plainwell and Daniel (Renee) LaGrow of Oregon, four sisters; Bertha Briney of Benton Harbor, Donna (Jim) Hyepock of Niles, Tina (Jim) Campbell of Muskegon and Anne (Tom) Thorson of Benton Harbor. A memorial service celebrating Larry's life will be held at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Stevensville, Michigan on Saturday, September 3, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior.
