Harry H. Radecki
August 26, 1925 ~ September 15, 2011
Harry H. Radecki was born in South Bend, Indiana on August 26, 1925 to Michael L. and Helen J. (Szczypiorski) Radecki. Harry was one of five Radecki children and lived most of his life on or near the Radecki family farm on Yankee Street in Niles. Harry worked for Tyler Refrigeration for 34 years, retiring in 1975. He was a long-time member of Coulter's Chapel Church of God.
Harry shared a close relationship with his brother and sisters. He loved being outdoors and enjoyed tinkering in his barn or working on his automobiles. In his younger years he was happy to serve as "chauffeur" for his sisters, nieces and nephews, taking them and their friends to high school football and basketball games, bowling, and out to Culver's Drive-in for a burger and a root beer.
Harry is survived by his sisters, Bette Dodd of Niles and Patricia (Jerry) Kissinger of Mentone, Indiana, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Evelyn Cripe and his brother, Richard Radecki.
