Obituary of Norman Cochran

Norman Glenn Cochran, 72, of Niles, passed away at home on Sunday, September 25, 2011. Glenn was born on June 14, 1939 to the late Charles and Vernice (Stubbs) Cochran. He was one of four children in the Cochran household. Glenn retired from National Standard in 2001. In 1989 Glenn wed Carol (Lovell) Cochran. Together they enjoyed traveling up north until her passing in 2005. Glenn was a hobby farmer. He enjoyed spending time taking care of his farm and riding around on his John Deere tractor. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife and one brother. Norm is survived by his children Kathy (Doug) Pasley of Phoenix, Arizona, Rodney (Eileen) Cochran of Niles, Michigan, Keith Webber of Niles, Curt Webber of Berrien Springs, Michigan, Tanya (Steve) Yonker of Niles, Trina (Keith) Stewart of Niles, 11 grandchildren, 1 great-grandchild and sisters Norma (Ross) Stancati of Kalamazoo, Michigan and Rosemary Kaiser of Niles. A time of visitation and remembrance will be held on Thursday, September 29, 2011 at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. Memorial donations may be made in Glenn's name to the American Diabetes Association.
