Obituary of Henry Boriboun

Henry "Hin" Boriboun, 82, of Elkhart, passed away at Memorial Hospital October 14, 2011.
Hin was born to the late Bouasy and Doungtha Boriboun.
He married Boupanh Nounay on March 10, 1953 in Laos.
Hin leaves to cherish his memory his wife, Boupanh, his six daughters; Sangiam (Anusit) Faramee, Ta Boriboun, Vila Boriboun, Southana (Tony) Nguyen, Arouny (Bouhpang Tasee) Keohauong, Rattana (Kevin) Kaomixay, three sons; Bounoum (Patuon) Nounay, Soukha (Khamla) Nounay, and Andrew Faramee.
Hin was a well known and loved man all over the world. He loved reading, teaching, and leading others in Buddhist teaching. In his earlier years, he led the French Army and was in charge of transmitting communications during the Laos Civil War. He also enjoyed gardening both in Laos and here in Elkhart.
