Obituary of Donald Edward Staples

Donald Staples, 77, of Harbert, Michigan, passed away on Thursday, October 27, 2011 at his residence with his family by his side.
Donald was born on July 10, 1934 in Evergreen Park, Illinois to the late Norman and Daisy (Toms) Staples.
Donald enlisted in the United States Army in 1957 where he proudly served his country.
On August 5, 1978 Donald married Karen (Zernia) Staples at a ceremony in Midlothian, Illinois.
He is survived by his wife, son Donald Norman Staples of Roselle, Illinois, daughter Donna (Doug Black) Johnson of Three Oaks, Michigan and two grandchildren Donald J. (DJ) Johnson and Vincent P. Johnson.
In keeping with Donald's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
Memorial contributions may be made in Donald's memory to Lakeland Hospice, 2550 Meadowbrook Road; Benton Harbor, Michigan 49022.
