Evelyn Grysbeck, 95, of Niles, passed away on Friday, November 4, 2011 at West Woods of Niles.
Evelyn Grysbeck was born on November 15, 1915 in Cicero, Illinois to the late Joseph and Claire Tesar.
She married the love of her life Joseph Robert Grysbeck at a ceremony in Cicero, Illinois.
Evelyn worked as a reporter for the Chicago Daily News. She later worked in her fathers' printing business as a proof reader. She also wrote a couple short stories that were published. In her spare time you could find Evelyn reading.
She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Joe Tesar and sister Dorothy Sindolar.
Evelyn is survived by two sons, Steve Grysbeck of Niles and Joseph (Dianne) Grysbeck of Montgomery, Illinois, two daughters, Therese (Jim) Grysbeck-Lutes of Niles and Maryann Grysbeck-Gannon of Vancouver, Canada, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
In keeping with Evelyn's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
