Obituary of Ivan J. Brock

Ivan J. Brock, 80, of Niles, passed away peacefully on Sunday, November 13, 2011 at Silverbrook Manor, after a lengthy illness.
He was born May 7, 1931 in Ontario, Canada to the late Wellington and Eliza Brock.
Ivan served his country proudly in the U.S. Air Force. He was a journeyman cement finisher and worked on the construction of Cook Nuclear Plant. Ivan enjoyed building and carpentry work. He loved bowling and mostly spending time with his grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers, two sisters and a daughter Mary Lynn Brock.
Ivan is survived by four sons; Ivan Brock Jr. of Altus, Oklahoma, William (Wendy) Brock of Niles, Michael (Kathy) Brock of Green Bay, Wisconsin, Robert (Della) Brock of Lemon Grove, California, daughter Linda (Dan) Peterson of Escanaba, Michigan, twelve grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren.
The family will hold private memorial services at a later time.
Memorial contributions may be made in Ivan's memory to Huntly Baptist Church 1139 Huntly Road, Niles, Michigan 49120.
