Obituary of Kathleen Watson

Kathleen "Kathy" Watson, 64, of Dowagiac, Michigan passed away at Borgess Medical Center in Kalamazoo, on December 17, 2011 with her husband by her side. Kathy was born on August 12, 1947 to the late Delbert and Mary (Rife) Anders in Dowagiac, Michigan. She was one of nine children. After graduating from Dowagiac High School Kathy began work at Contech LLC. She wed Tim Watson on November 23, 1968 in Dowagiac, Michigan. Kathy worked at Contech for 42 ½ years until she retired. She loved gardening, tending to her flowers, keeping a clean house and ever week she looked forward to Thursday card games with her friends. Kathy enjoyed cooking, she found any excuse she could to cook dinner and dessert for her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, siblings Marshall Anders, Fern Welch and sister Charlotte Moore. Kathy is survived by her husband of 43 years, Tim, siblings Delbert (Lillian) Anders Jr. of Florida, Melvin (Sheila) Anders of Dowagiac, Victor (Helen) Anders of Dowagiac, Patricia (Carl) Sibley of Dowagiac and Peggy Anders of Dowagiac. A memorial visitation will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2011 from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m. at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel in Niles.
