Richard Snyder, 87, of Sodus, passed away at his residence on Thursday, December 29, 2011 with his family by his side.
Richard Snyder was born on September 27, 1924 in Detroit to the late Leo and Eunice (Castle) Snyder.
Richard married the love of his life Gloria (Sample) Snyder on May 19, 1944 at a ceremony in St. Joseph, Michigan.
He is survived by his wife, two sons, Robert Allan Snyder of Caledonia, Michigan, Don Richard Snyder of Eau Claire, Michigan, daughter Betty Jean Allen of Forte Smith, Arkansas, 11 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren.
In keeping with Richard's wishes cremation has taken place and there will be no services at this time.
