Obituary of Ester Marie Britch

Ester Marie Britch, 68, of Niles, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, July 22 2017, surrounded by her loving family.
Ester was born on January 24, 1949, to the late Astor and Mildred (Underwood) Minix in Indianapolis, Indiana. After high school Ester began to work at a restaurant and later retired as a restaurant manager from Morrison's Cafeteria.
On April 12, 1994, she wed Donald Britch on the pier in Treasure Island, Florida with her two sons by her side.
Ester and her husband traveled the U.S. in their motor home. She enjoyed board games, playing cards and mostly time spent with her family.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Astor and Mildred Minix.
Ester is survived by her husband, Don Britch of Niles; sons, Charles Blakley of Niles and Dale (Jennifer) Blakley of Niles; five grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brothers, George, Rob, and Jimmy, Minix; sisters, Brenda Dunlap and Linda Minix; step-brother, David Greathouse; along with many extended family members and friends.
A graveside burial will be held at Ft. Custer National Cemetery in Augusta, Michigan on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 2:30 p.m. Those wishing to join the family are asked to gather at the Fort Custer entrance, fifteen minutes prior to the service.
