Obituary of Clara Mae Austin

Clara Austin, 79, of Niles, passed away on Monday, January 2, 2012 at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould, Arkansas.
Clara Austin was born on May 25, 1932 in Summerville, Tennessee to the late Thomas and Pearl (Landsell) McQueen.
Clara married the love of her life on August 9, 1946 at a ceremony in Corinth, Mississippi.
She is preceded in death be her parents, son Vance Austin Jr., and a daughter Mary Trowbridge.
Clara is survived by her husband, four daughters; Rosa Johnston Mt. Dora, Florida, Irene Bennett of Paragould, Arkansas, Joyce Matthews of Tucson, Arizona and Betty Mangold of Niles, 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, 3 brothers; Walter (Ada) Benson of Arkansas, Charles (Faye) Benson of Niles and Jimmy Schrimsher of Arkansas, 3 sisters; Elsis (Floyd) Austin of Illinois, Helen McCarrol of Arkansas and Pauline (Billy) McNew of Missouri.
In keeping with Clara's wishes a private graveside service will be on Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Mission Hills Memorial Gardens. Services to honor her life will be held at a later time.
