Obituary of Dennis J. Connors

Dennis Connors, 55, of Niles, Michigan passed away at home on Wednesday, January 4, 2012 with his family by his side. Dennis was born on March 30, 1956 to Raymond and Evelyn (Poznanski) Connors in Niles. He was one of seven children in the Connors household. Dennis graduated from Niles Senior High School. He wed Linda (Jasper) Connors and together they had two children. Linda passed away in July of 1999. He loved his family, hunting, fishing and spending time in northern Michigan. Dennis is preceded in death by his wife. He is survived by his parents Ray and Evelyn, children Matt (Tracey) Connors of Mishawaka, Indiana and Kellie Connors of Elkhart, Indiana, grandchildren Ryan, Bryce, Emilie and Erika, girlfriend Vicki Papczynski, her children Michelle and Melissa and Vicki's grandchildren, all of Niles and siblings Alan Connors, Kevin (Betsy) Connors, Cheryl (Kerry) Dubie, Elaine (Terry) Miller and Debbie Connors, all of Niles and Bill (Diana) Connors of Alma, Michigan. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, January 8, 2012 at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel at 2:30 p.m. with a time of visitation one hour prior. Pastor Jeff Whittaker will be officiating and a private burial will take place. Memorial donations may be made in Dennis' memory to St. Jude's Children's Hospital.
