Obituary of Robert W. Kluge

Robert W. Kluge, Sr., 85, of Niles, passed away on Monday, January 30, 2012 at Riveridge Manor, following an extended illness. He was born on November 20, 1922 in Buffalo, New York to the late Howard and Charlotte (Hart) Kluge. On January 27, 1951 Robert married Evelyn Haight at a ceremony in Buffalo, New York. Robert retired after working in food service for many years. He and his wife Evelyn were always very busy, especially raising two sets of twins born thirteen months apart. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Dennis Kluge in 2011 and two brothers Edward and Howard Kluge. Robert is survived by his wife of 61 years Evelyn Kluge of Niles, two sons Roger (Paulette) Kluge of Niles and Jeffrey (Dianne) Kluge of Greensboro, North Carolina, a daughter Charlyne Tataryn (Doug Holland) of Long Beach, California, three grandchildren and eight great-great grandchildren. In keeping with Robert's wishes, cremation has taken place and no services will be held at this time.
