Obituary of Brenda L. Springer

Brenda L. (Hamm) Springer, 50, of Battle Creek, passed away on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Bronson Methodist Hospital in Kalamazoo, following injuries sustained in an auto accident. She was born on November 5, 1961 in St Joseph, Missouri to William L and Betty Hamm. Brenda was a graduate of Harper Creek High School. On October 11, 1992 Brenda married Richard "Rick" Springer at a ceremony in Battle Creek. Brenda owned her own cleaning business for many years. Her hands were never idle and she was always willing to help anyone in need. Brenda was a terrific cook and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was a member of The Potter's House Church of Battle Creek. She is survived by her husband Richard "Rick" Springer of Battle Creek, three daughters; Cynthia K. "Cindy" Rhodes of Battle Creek, Laura (Kory) Rathe of Battle Creek, Ashley (Joseph) Pollock of Wausaukee, Wisconsin, a son Brian Springer of Iron River, Michigan, her mother Betty Parker of Battle Creek, ten grandchildren, a brother Bill White of Glendale, Arizona and a sister Barbara Iannone of Battle Creek. In keeping with Brenda's wishes, a celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, February 22, 2012 at 7:00 PM at The Potter's House Church, 226 Capital Ave. NE in Battle Creek, with visitation beginning one hour prior. A private interment will be held at Ft. Custer National Cemetery.
