We did not know Scott personally but my husband and I shopped at Shelton's often and we always saw Scott and his smile. He was always helpful and pleasant and had that warm smile. He always said hello. He had a kindness about him that was written on his face. I will miss seeing him when I go to Shelton's. My husband also passed on after a very brief illness a couple of months ago so maybe he and Scott are sharing some talks about sports up in heaven. Mrs. Brigid Stapleton

Scott was kind and growing up he would get mad at one of us kids for doing something stupid, but it never lasted. He was the type of person who truly forgave and forgot..

I remember Scott as a very nice, polite young man. He was a good friend to my Dad. They played darts together, and probably got into some mischief together! Even after Dad passed, whenever Mom shopped at Shelton's, Scott would remember to ask about my sister & I. He was thoughtful that way.
I'm so sorry for your loss.

Scotty was really helpful and welcoming when I joined the Shelton's team after being gone for many years. He always had a sincere "how are you today" and was one of the first to say good morning to me. When I left Shelton's Scotty called to see how I was doing. I got a real kick out of Scotty when he could name the album, year and so on, playing on the radio. He took great pride in his work and was courteous to the shoppers. I'm sure Angie and all the others that worked beside Scotty will struggle with his loss. I'm very sorry for your loss Mrs. Parm. Know you raised a very fine man and he touched many people's lives.
