Obituary of Mary Ann Mitchell

Mary Ann Mitchell, 66, of Niles, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, February 28, 2012. Mary Ann was born on January 26, 1946 to the late Frank and Pauline (Blankenship) Pressley. In June of 1984 she wed the love of her life, Donald Mitchell, in Polk County, Georgia. Together they had two children. Mary Ann loved shopping at Wal-Mart and spending her free time at Four Winds Casino in New Buffalo. She is preceded in death by her parents Frank and Pauline and husband Donald. Mary Ann is survived by her children Lisa Henry of Cedartown, Georgia, Crystal (Dennis Whitley) Culberson of Niles, Michigan, five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, brother Howard (Jean) Pressley of Cartersville, Georgia, sisters Mildred Dingler of Cedartown, Ruby Davidson of Bremen, Georgia and Rebar (Curtis) Clifton of Cedartown and several nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews including her special nephew Todd Dingler whom she spoke to on the phone every day. Mary Ann will be laid to rest in Cedartown, Georgia at Northview Cemetery next to her other special nephew Rod Dingler. Memorial donations may be made in Mary Ann's memory to Hospice at Home located at 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, Michigan 49085.
