Richard Edward Fry, 62, of Dowagiac, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 15, 2012.
Richard was born on August 15, 1949 to the late Ernest L. Fry Sr. and Mary Jane (Black) Heath in Dowagiac, Michigan.
After graduating from Dowagiac Union High School Richard went on to become a Certified Public Accountant. He retired from Logan Industries in South Bend in the early 1980's.
Richard was also a long time member of the Dowagiac Moose Lodge #933 and the Masonic Temple, Peninsular Lodge. Richard was an avid sportsman and love hunting and fishing.
He is preceded in death by his parents and brother Ernest Fry Jr..
Richard was survived by his siblings Mary (John) Hamilton of Dowagiac, Raymond (Sherida) Fry of Cassopolis, Marlane (Jim) Stanek of Dowagiac and Betty (Richmond) Harman of Palm City, Florida and a long time friend and caregiver Sara Kamenski.
Memorial donations may be made in Richard's memory to the American Cancer Socity.
The family will be hosting a memorial gathering on Tuesday, March 20, 2012 at the Moose Lodge in Dowagiac at 1:00 p.m.
