Obituary of Jackie Lowrance

Jacqueline A. Lowrance, 91, of Niles passed away peacefully at her home, Wednesday April 19, 2023, after a short illness. She was affectionately known as Jackie.

She was born in Niles, Michigan to Edward and Neah (Eaton) Daus on October 27, 1931.    On November 19, 1949 she married Earl Lowrance who preceded her in death. 

Jackie is survived by her three children:  Earl James Lowrance, Cary Dean (Joyce) Lowrance, and Debra Jean McDowell.    She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Christina (Bret) Nicholaus, Cami (Matt) VanAken, Amanda (Andrew) Hall, Carrie (Sal) Miramontes, Sarah (Jace) Johnson, Reid (Jessy) McDowell, Cameron (Lisa) McDowell, Terry (Amy) Jacobson and Michael (Cori) Jacobson as well as a host of great-grandchildren great-great-grandchildren.

She was a member of South Bend First Church of the Nazarene, having attended regularly for almost sixty-eight years. Jackie had a deep and enduring love for Jesus Christ and her friends and family at First Church. 

Funeral services to celebrate Jackie’s life will be held on April 28, 2023 at 12:00 p.m., Mission Hills Memorial Chapel 61453 M-51, Niles following a time of visitation beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Andy Lauer officiating.

In lieu of flowers those wishing to make a memorial donation in honor of Jackie have been asked to consider the South Bend First Church of the Nazarene Youth Ministry, 51690 N. Ironwood Road, South Bend, Indiana.
