Norman Eugene Hogue, 80, of Niles, passed away at the Center for Hospice Care Raclin House in Mishawaka on Saturday, April 15, 2023.

Norman was born in Paw Paw on December 13, 1942, to the late George and Fay (Dobson) Hogue.  After graduating from high school, Norman went on to join the United States Army.  On April 8, 1967, Norman wed Darlene True and together the two had two sons.

Norman loved to be outdoors, especially if he could be fishing, gardening, hunting, or golfing.  He especially loved fishing and spending time on Diamond Lake, Donnell Lake, and Crooked Lake. More than all of his outdoor activities Norman loved caring for his family and took great pride in being a family man.

He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Fay Hogue; and his brother, George Hogue.

Norman is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Darlene Hogue; children, Mark Hogue of Niles, Todd (Debbie) Hogue of Bridgman; grandchildren, Katelyn (Nicole) Hogue, Lauren Hogue, and Kristin Hogue; siblings, Margaret (Danny) Smith of Cassopolis, Paul Hogue of Ann Arbor, and Bonnie (Marty) Bell of Coloma; and many extended family members and close friends.

A time of visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023 at Mission Hills Memorial Chapel from Noon until 1:00 p.m. with funeral services beginning at 1:00 p.m.
