Obituary of Robin Lee Meador

Robin Lee Meador, 58, of Niles, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, April 4, 2023, at Corewell Medical Center in St Joseph, Michigan, following a brief illness.

She was born on January, 3, 1965, in Muskegon, Michigan to the late Wilmer F. and Nila May (Cherstetter) Seastrom. She graduated from Brandywine High School.

On September 9, 1983 in Niles, she married her very best friend; Alan J. Meador, with whom she celebrated the thirty-fourth anniversary of their wedding, before his passing in 2017.
 

In 2006, along with her husband they established Al's Heating & Air Conditioning, serving many members of the Niles community as well as several surrounding areas.

Robin was really a homebody at heart. Her family was her biggest priority, she loved spending time with her grandchildren. She cherished every moment spent with her husband Alan, whether it was riding motorcycles, spending time on the houseboat, fishing in area lakes and rivers, and was known to occasionally visit a casino.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Billie Seastrom.

Surviving family includes her children, Kelly (David) Schoff, Tona (Bob) Schmidt, Amy Meador, all of Niles; eleven grandchildren Kyle, Gavin, Nathan, Nila, Macy, Liam, Jack, Jude, Maddox, Kimberly, and Abagail; her siblings, Debbie (Ron) Ingle, Mark Seastrom, Cindi Seastrom, Denise (George) Baxter, Matt (Cindy) Seastrom, along with several nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, April 14, 2023, at Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 521 E. Main St. in Niles, burial will be held privately, she will be laid to rest next to her husband. The family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 13, 2023, at the funeral home.
