Obituary of Jeffrey Kevin Voight

Jeffrey Kevin Voight, 39, of Niles, Michigan, passed away on February 19, 2023, unexpectedly, of natural causes, at his home. He is now with his Lord and Savior, Jesus, in his eternal home.

On February 3, 1984, Jeffrey was born in Flint, Michigan to Kevin and Deidre (DeMain) Vought.

Jeff was currently finishing his degree through the University of Maine. He was an avid reader, enjoyed his pets and was a Michigan Football, Detroit Lions and Detroit Pistons fan. Jeff was very caring and kindhearted. He loved being with his family and he will be missed by them all.

Surviving Jeff is his parents, Mike and Deidre Leets of Niles; father, Kevin Voight of Ft. Worth, Texas siblings, Sara Voight-Small of South Bend, Erin (Paul) Hess of Niles, Jared (Amy) Leets of Arlington, Virginia and Christopher Voight of Ft. Worth, Texas; grandmothers, Doris Powers, Helene DeMain and Wanda Leets; nieces and nephews, Colin, Paul, Cheyenne, Savannah, Claire, Caroline and Elijah. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Those wishing to make a memorial contribution may do so in Jeffrey’s memory to Bronson’s Children’s Hospital at 601 John St, Kalamazoo, Michigan 49007.

A service to celebrate Jeffrey’s life will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Hope Community Church at 2390 Lake St, Niles, MI 49120.
