Frederick “Fred” C. Jasper III, 39, of Plainwell, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, January 26, 2023, at his home.

He was born in Niles, Michigan on April 13, 1983, to Frederick and Julie (Wirick) Jasper Jr. He graduated from Hartford High School in 2002.

He is preceded in death by his brother, Ryan M. Wirick, grandparents; Freddy and Nancy Jasper, Warren and Shirley Wirick, uncles; JR Wirick, Michael Baker, Billy Wirick, and an aunt, Maryanne Ford.

Fred is survived by his father; Frederick Jasper Jr, mother; Julie E. Wirick, brother; Bobby (Storm) Jasper, nieces, and nephews; Cadience, Ryan, Bobby Jr., Lauren, and one on the way; his step-dad, James Henslee Sr., step siblings, James Henslee Jr, Adam Henslee, Brittany Henslee, and Stephanie Henslee.

Funeral services celebrating Fred will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, February 6, 2023, at Brown Funeral Home, 521 E. Main St, Niles. Visitation will begin at 12:00 noon.
