Obituary of Billy Wayne Halby

Billy Wayne Halby, 66, of Battle Creek, formerly of Niles, passed away on November 2, 2022 from injuries sustained from an accident.

He was born on January 3, 1956 in Anniston, Alabama to the late Floyd and Frances (Maxwell) Halby.

Billy worked for many years in general labor. He was very close with his sons and enjoyed spending time fishing and hunting with them.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Dawayne Halby.

Billy is survived by his son, Thomas Halby of Battle Creek; grandson, Thomas Wayne "T.J." Halby, Jr. and great-grandchildren, Max and Ella Halby.

In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place and his family will remember him privately.
