Ronald G. Vore, 79, of Cassopolis, passed away peacefully at his home on Saturday, November 23, 2013 with his family by his side.
Ron was born on September 5, 1934 to the late Raymond and Helen (Wolford) Vore in Niles.
Ron proudly served our country in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. After he returned Ron wed the love of his life, Thelma May (Sautter) Hoff, at a ceremony in Niles on July 16, 1966. Shortly after he began to work for the Niles school system where he later retired from.
He is preceded in death by his wife Thelma; parents Ray and Helen; brother Richard Vore and many friends.
He leaves behind to honor his memory children Ronald (Maxine) Hoff of Arlington Texas, Karen (Edgar) McComb of Niles, Keith (Kathleen) Hoff of Lilburn, Georgia, Margaret Mathis of Atkins, Arkansas, Ronald "Glen" Jr. (Cathy) Vore of Fayetteville, Tennessee and Audrey Clark of South Bend, Indiana; 21 grandchildren; several great grandchildren and siblings Mary Word of Lodi, Wisconsin, Barbara (Phil) Harbaugh of Elkhart, Indiana, Roger (Leslie) Vore of Fairview, North Carolina and Juanita (Bill) Stelser of Mishicot, Wisconsin.
Ron's family will be remembering him privately at a graveside burial.
