Our hearts are grieving of the loss of our dear friend and neighbor Bill Weaver, here at Silverbrook Community, but our hearts are also relieved that Bill is no longer suffering. I was honored to meet Bill and Pam when I first became the manager at Silverbook, and they were just moving in! My husband David and I became instant friends with the Weavers. Their positive attitude, friendship, and support to David and I as well as to Ray our Maintenance Supervisor was and is so appreciated! If we needed an ear to bend, or even a hug, and they donated their time to help with our Community food drive-sorting, checking the expiration dates, and filling the bags, whatever we needed help with or just encouragement, they were both there! I was so honored to be praying with Bill as he was passing from this life, and could feel God's presence and mercy upon him! He fought a long hard battle with a disease that took his physical strength away over time, but I was very amazed how hard he fought! I will miss our serious talks with Bill and Pam, about the "not so good condition" this country is in, and how we need to get back to what our fore fathers fought and died for, also our light hearted talks, and laughter and sometimes even tears out of love and appreciation that God brought us all here together, either sitting in their back yard, or in my office, or meeting up on our golf carts! We love you Pam, Pea Gee and Bill!! I will always cherish our friendship, I would love to have known you as "Coach" at school, but I am blessed to have known you these past few years, and I feel you were a "Coach" to us here, encouraging many of us here at Silverbrook Community! I will miss your smile, sense of humor, and talks Bill! We will watch out for Pam for you!! We love you Bill and Pam! Rest in peace our friend, neighbor and coach!
