Clinton A. "Butch" Rank, 69, of Cassopolis passed away on Monday, April 9, 2012 at his home, surrounded by his family and friends.
He was born on January 16, 1943 in Dowagiac, Michigan to the late Clinton A. "Tut" and Ethel Hope (Personette) Rank.
Butch graduated from Dowagiac High School class of 1961. He was certified as a master electrician and worked as a maintenance supervisor for several local businesses as well as being self employed. His hobbies included hunting, fishing, farming and spending time in his pole barn and cabin up north.
Butch is survived by his wife Margaret of Cassopolis, two sons Brian (Paula) Rank of Cassopolis, Mike (Suzanne) Dorman of Dowagiac, three daughters; Jodi (Tom) Jerdon of Dowagiac, Tina Morningstar of Dowagiac and Krissi (Larry) O'Brien of Dowagiac, a brother James (Shirley) Rank of Cassopolis, a sister Arminta (Jim) Ralston of Cassopolis, eleven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather to celebrate Butch's life on Saturday, April 14, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Dowagiac VFW at 472 E. Division Street.
Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to Hospice at Home 4025 Health Park Lane St. Joseph, MI 49085.
