Obituary of Linda Lou Loutzenhiser

Linda L. Loutzenhiser, 78, of Box Elder, South Dakota and formerly of Elkhart, Indiana, passed into eternal peace on Monday, October 24, 2022.

Linda was born on June 7, 1944, to the late Robert and Marjorie (Nettro) Cart in Elkhart. 

Linda retired from Bayer Corp. in Elkhart. Her children and grandchildren were her pride and joy! In her free time, she loved to do puzzles, sew, and collect cat figurines.  In her younger years she was an expert roller-skater. After Linda retired, she and her husband sold their home and went on the road full time in their RV until her passing.

Linda leaves behind her husband of 54 years, George Loutzenhiser; her children, Erika Thurston of Elkhart, Laura Biggs of Osceola, Indiana, and Keith (Tammy) Loutzenhiser of Middlebury, Indiana; ten grandchildren, Morgan (Matt) R., Danny T., Adam T., Taylor T., Andrew B., Justin B., Katie B., Austin (Christina) L., Lindsey (Ryan E.) L., Brooke B.; four great-grandchildren, Maddox, Maxell, Oliver, and Kasyn; special friend, Robin Wade; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Linda’s family will be holding a memorial service on Saturday, November 5^th at 2:00 p.m. at Elkhart Campground located at 25608 CR 4, Elkhart.
