Obituary of Patricia Cook

Patricia Cook, 72, of South Haven and previously of Buchanan, passed away at Bronson Hospital in South Haven, Michigan, on Monday, July 4, 2022.

Patricia was born on March 22, 1950, in Niles, Michigan, to the late Robert and Arvis (Wilken) Gleason Sr.  She graduated from New Buffalo High School.  In September of 1979 she wed Thomas Cook who preceded her in death in 2007.  Patricia was a waitress for most of her adult life and loved all of the people she met through her job.  She was also an avid crafter, enjoyed baking, and cooking.  Patricia truly got joy out of the simple things in life.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Thomas, and her brother Robert Gleason Jr.

Patricia is survived by her sister, Kathleen Koehler of Buchanan; brother, William (Cindy) Gleason, of Illinois; many extended family members and close friends.

Patricia’s family will be hosting a graveside service later in the fall where Patricia will be interred in New Buffalo next to her husband.
