Obituary of Delores Fern Cunningham

Delores F. Cunningham, 82, of Benton Harbor, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 following a brief illness.

She was born on January 10, 1940 in Centralia, Illinois to the late Oscar and Harriet (Donoho) Doolen.

At a ceremony in Benton Harbor, Delores married the love of her life, Kenneth Ray Cunningham. She mostly worked at local factories. Delores was kind and had a great passion for her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Cunningham in 2019; four brothers and one sister.

Delores will be fondly remembered by her sister, who cared for her, Sheila Harris of Benton Harbor; a brother, Samuel Doolen as well as many nieces and nephews.

In keeping with Delores’ wishes, cremation has taken place and her family will lay her to rest alongside her husband, Kenneth.

Memorial contributions may be made in Delores’ memory to Caring Circle Hospice at 4025 Health Park Lane, St. Joseph, Michigan 49085.
