Obituary of Roselee Moore Adams
Roselee Moore Adams, 79, of Niles, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022, at the Westwoods of Niles.
She was born in Texarkana, Texas on May 28, 1943, to the late Alonzo “Rail Head’ and Olivia (Ward) Moore. When she was a young girl, the family relocated to Niles.
Roselee was a care giver, always compassionate; she loved working with the elderly, and with children. She had worked in numerous assisted living homes, where she found great fulfillment.
Her greatest calling was doing the work of the Lord, as a member of the Washington Temple Church of God, she taught Sunday School. She loved to sing praises unto God, her favorite song being, He Is An On-time God, Yes He Is, by Dottie People.
On June 20, 1983, she married Pastor Paul W. Adams Sr., and she became the First Lady of the Church. She worked diligently beside her husband, serving the community with prayer, feeding the hungry, taking care of the neighborhood children, along with anything else she was called upon to do.
After the loss of her husband Paul on December 4, 2008, she went on to attend the Old Path Church of God, where she again served as the “mother” of the church.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughters, Juanita Coleman, Patricia Ramsey; sons, Mark Adams, Paul W. “Sonny” Adams Jr.; brothers, James “Big Head” Moore, Alonzo Moore Jr., John (Rose) Moore, and a sister, Dorothy Ruffin.
Roselee is survived by her sons, Joseph Coleman Jr., Douglas Coleman, Michael Coleman; special daughter, Beverly (Woody) Bradford; brother, Samuel Moore; numerous grandchildren, including a special one to her, Charles E.
