I met Nick over 20 years on what started an annual vacation to Hawaii. Gary, Lois , Nick, and Judy would stay with Uncle John and Aunty Geri Yoder in Mililani. The first vacation which was 2 weeks long became longer as the years went by and was eventually extended to about a month long stay. I remember greeting Nick in the Yoder carport once and said “Aloha Nick, welcome home!!” He hugged me and said, “This feels like home.” Aloha Nick.

Aloha my great friend ! The memories that Lois and I will keep forever of the 40 years of the time we spent racing, golfing, fishing, and over 20 years of Hawaii trips. Nick and Judy spent many winters at our home in mililani Hawaii with my cousins Lois and Gary Bates. At our table many laughs, a lot of cards were played, much food was served and even more Aloha was shared, more than you could ever imagine. As sad as we are to see his departure from earth, I can truly say he’s now with the love of his life for eternity. My buddy Nick…. Pardon my French but I hope you kick my dads ass in a game of gin rummy sitting on the golden streets of heaven. . May god hold you tight and May you rest pain free for eternity.
