Doug was kind and patient when I joined the tax department at Clark Equipment. He always seemed youthful to me and approachable. It was during the time of the Vietnam War, Roe vs Wade, Womens Lib and Doug's sense of fair play and justice was reassuring. I also got to know your Mom and she was a very special lady. I am sorry for your loss. But I rejoice that I was fortunate to know him (them) and will remember them always. With love, Laura Gerber

From the family of Jim and Sally Anderson, we send our condolences to Debbie, Doug Jr. and families. We couldn’t have had better neighbors for all those years in Shamrock Hills, and I know it meant the world to mom and dad to have your family next door for the duration of it. Last time I saw Doug Sr (at Brentwood)he told Pops to come over and have a beer and chat for a while. I don’t think Dad ever got the chance, but maybe now they share one over the rainbow.
