Obituary of Craig Carl Edgell

Craig Carl Edgell, 71, of Niles, passed away at home on Sunday, May 29, 2022.
Craig was born on October 30, 1950, to the late George and Georgia (Murphy) Edgell in Benton Harbor. He was one of three children growing up in the Edgell household. After graduating from high school Craig joined the United States Navy. He served 12 years in the service, including time in Vietnam, before returning stateside where he returned to manage golf courses over the span of his career.
He was preceded in death by his father, George Edgell; mother, Georgia Burke; and brother, George Edgell.
Craig is survived by his sister, Cathie Radlein of Niles and many extended family members and close friends.
Family has asked that in lieu of flowers donations be made the help cover the cost of funeral services by calling Brown Funeral Home at 269-683-1155.
In keeping with Craig’s wishes he has been cremated and his family will be remembering him privately.
