Obituary of Bryan Shane Hamman

Please share a memory of Bryan to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Bryan S. Hamman, 35, of Cassopolis, suddenly passed away at home on April 27, 2022. On October 10, 1986, Bryan was born to his loving parents, Robert and Penny Hamman, in South Bend, Indiana. Bryan was a man who wasn’t afraid to live life on the edge and would frequently test the limits of whatever he was currently interested in. He was someone who loved hard and valued his inner circle more than anything else in the world. Anybody that knew Bryan also knew that he would have taken a bullet for each of his kids. Being a Daddy to Keaton, Liam, and Kaeden was top priority all of the time. He loved nothing more than packing up his 2011 GMC 2500 and taking his boys fishing on the St. Joseph River. If they weren’t fishing, they were probably out riding around on his four-wheeler. Bryan wasn’t much into tangible assets and shiny things; he valued his relationships with people more than anything else. He invested himself into those that he loved and if anyone needed him, he would be there at the drop of a hat. After graduating high school Bryan found himself working odd jobs here and there making money wherever he could find work. He enjoyed anything that was outside and working with his hands. He found that being self-employed meant he could run on his own schedule and that was always more his style. Bryan was a very kind, caring individual who always had the best intentions for people, even if the delivery wasn’t great. One of his most special memories was on a family trip to the Bahamas where he was able to get his picture taken with O.J. Simpson. He had an incredible sense of humor and a very charismatic personality which made him an easy person to spend time with. Bryan was the goofball daredevil that we all wish we had a little more of in ourselves, you could always rely on him to come through with what he said, even though it might be a little late. He will be dearly missed by all of his family members, friends, and loved ones. Those who have preceded Bryan in death are only his grandparents and distant relatives. He is survived by both of his parents, Robert and Penny Hamman; his three siblings, Josh, Dale, and Amber Hamman; his three precious children, Keaton, Liam, and Kaeden Hamman; soulmate and lifelong sweetheart Crystal Simpson; as well as many other extended family members and friends. The Hamman Family will be holding a memorial service at the Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services on Monday, May 9, 2022. A visitation will be held prior to the service and will start at 2:00 p.m. with services beginning at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the Hamman family asks that memorial contributions be made straight to the family or to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services in care of Bryan. Arrangements have been entrusted to Brown Funeral Home & Cremation Services.
