Obituary of David Allen Shafer

David A. Shafer, 53, of Niles, passed away on Saturday, March 12, 2022 at Lakeland Spectrum Hospital in Niles.
He was born on April 12, 1968 in South Bend, Indiana to the late Harry and Garland (Williams) Shafer.
Dave worked for the laborers union and did construction most of his life. He enjoyed playing darts, attending concerts, shooting marbles, watching NASCAR and was a car enthusiast. He was a carefree, fun, loving and selfless person who was passionate for the ones he loved.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Dave is survived by his brothers, James Shafer of Niles and Randy Shafer of Avon Park, Florida and his nieces, Katrina and Rachael Shafer.
In keeping with his wishes, Dave will be cremated and his family will be remembering him privately.
